Canvas Named an Ad Age Best Place to Work for the 3rd Year in a Row

Canvas Worldwide has once again been named one of Ad Age’s Best Places to Work, earning the distinction for the third consecutive year and securing a Top 10 ranking in 2024, 2025, and 2026.

The annual Ad Age Best Places to Work list recognizes 50 companies across the advertising and marketing industry that demonstrate excellence in areas including corporate culture, leadership, employee engagement, and benefits. The 2026 rankings were revealed on January 20th on AdAge.com here.

This year’s recognition arrives at a pivotal moment for Canvas, which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026. Earning this honor three years in a row as the agency reaches that milestone underscores Canvas’ long-term commitment to building a culture where team members are supported, inspired, and empowered to do their best work.

“This recognition is incredibly meaningful because it comes directly from our team,” said Paul Woolmington, CEO of Canvas Worldwide. “It’s humbling to know that our employees genuinely love and appreciate working here. Creating a place where people feel valued, supported, and excited to show up every day is core to our mission as an agency — and receiving this honor three years in a row tells us we’re doing something right!”

Canvas considers itself a mission-driven agency, grounded in the belief that positive employee experience is a growth driver. The agency invests deeply in its people through ongoing training and enrichment, comprehensive benefits, and internal initiatives and awards programs designed to keep teams inspired, engaged, and encouraged. Known internally as a team of “restless optimists,” Canvas focuses on creating an environment where people can thrive professionally and personally while delivering exceptional work for clients.

Ad Age’s rankings are based on a comprehensive evaluation combining employee survey feedback and employer-submitted data. Employee responses account for 80% of the overall score and span key focus areas including pay and benefits, leadership, culture, and engagement, while 20% reflects a company’s policies and practices related to work-life balance, recruitment, training, and development.

“This year’s Best Places to Work winners show what it looks like to lead with intention during a period of constant change,” said Dan Peres, president of Ad Age. “They’re investing in their people, prioritizing flexibility and building cultures that support both performance and retention.”

Ad Age produces the Best Places to Work program in partnership with Workforce Research Group, an independent research firm specializing in identifying and recognizing outstanding workplace cultures. The competition is open to agencies, ad tech companies, data and research firms, brand and corporate marketing teams, and in-house agencies.

As Canvas looks ahead to its next decade, the agency sees this third consecutive Best Places to Work recognition as both a milestone and a motivator — reinforcing its belief that when people are supported and inspired, great work follows!
